YOLO BEARINGS ESTABLISHED IN 2016
All YOLO SWISS and CERAMIC BEARINGS are put through a proprietary treatment that includes ultrasonic cleaning, hand oiled, prespun/broken in, sealed and packaged in MI., USA.
- Precision ceramic balls made in Japan
- Double honed inner and outer races
- Deeper grooves specifically for skating
- Nylon retainers
- Non-contact rubber coated steel shields (one side) for easy access to clean and oil.
Removing YOLO Shields:
Using a thumbtack or something similar, use the pointed end of the tack (be careful, very sharp) to enter the inside portion of the shield. Gently pry up, moving your pin around the inner ring of the bearing until the shield releases. Do not force the bearing up (Shields may bend with force).
Replacing YOLO Shields:
Place the bearing on a hard flat surface, set the shield over the bearing lining up the inner holes of the shield and bearing, press down on one side of the shield then continue pressing one direction until you have made a complete revolution. If the shield is not 100% flat then continue pressing in the raised areas. Once the shield is flat and the bearing rolls smooth then repeat these steps for the rest of the bearings.
